Washing your face every day is probably one of the simplest forms of keeping your daily hygiene. But how exactly should you wash your face? What are the ways of making it as clean as possible? What products should you use? We have the answers that you need!
Stage 1: Preparation
The first thing we need to do before washing our face is to wash our hands thoroughly for at least 30 seconds. Also, make sure you have your hair tied up tightly (you don’t want them sticking to your face and getting all soapy when you wash your face).
Stage 2: Washing your face
To open up the pores of your skin, start the washing process by splashing warm water to your face. Taking a small amount of cleanser, rub it gently on your face in circular motions. Massage your skin using a facial wash for about one minute. If your skin is not too sensitive and doesn’t get irritated too quickly, you can also use a washcloth made of natural fibers.
Stage 3: Rinsing and Drying
After washing your face with warm water, you can rinse it with cold water (but make sure it’s not too cold!). Rinse your face as thoroughly as possible, making sure there is no soap left anywhere. Pay special attention to your hairline and jawline.
When you are done rinsing, smoothly pat your face with a soft towel (no harsh rubbing, please!). If there are any medications you use for your skin, try applying them in some 15 minutes when your face has completely dried off. This will help you to prevent irritation.
Keep your skin clean and healthy by following these simple steps. Remember that no makeup can hide the problems that are caused by not taking a proper care of your face.
